As a specialist provision for pupils with special educational needs, we are exempt from some statutory performance measures that apply to mainstream settings. Our pupils’ progress and achievements are evaluated through tailored assessment approaches that reflect their individual learning pathways and developmental milestones. Ofsted inspectors consider the progress of all pupils including those with SEND within the context of a school’s personalised curriculum and support arrangements.
