Now Recruiting: Upper Primary and Key Stage 3 Teacher

We are currently recruiting an Upper Primary and Key Stage 3 Teacher to join St Peter’s Centre, part of The Goldfinch Trust.

This part time, fixed term role offers the opportunity to work closely with small groups of pupils who are unable to access mainstream education due to medical, emotional or mental health needs. The successful candidate will deliver core subjects in a calm, highly personalised setting where relationships, flexibility and progress are central to every day practice.

Closing date: Monday 26 January 2026.

🚀 The Goldfinch Trust launched a focused consultancy project to strengthen our Trust-wide approach to SEND leadership and school improvement. This will help us build consistency, strengthen practice and keep improving outcomes for learners with special educational needs and complex health needs.

Our pupils made handmade crafts and treats for this years Winter Fayre, raising money for a chosen charity. It was a great way for them to get involved and give something back. With support from ward staff, the event was a big success. Karaoke, hot chocolate and cookies kept spirits high throughout!

🌍Today, pupils from Maudsley and Bethlem Hospital School visited Black Cultural Archives in Brixton for the 'Windrush Journeys' workshop. They explored artefacts and stories that illustrate the London experiences of Caribbean communities. One pupil described the visit as “absolutely amazing”!
