Pupils from the Maudsley site recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to see Paddington. The performance brought the much loved story to life through humour, music and exciting live storytelling.
Pupils had a wonderful time experiencing the atmosphere of the theatre and engaging with the characters, energy and creativity of the production.
Pupils from the Bethlem site visited the theatre to see War Horse, a powerful production exploring themes of friendship, courage, resilience and hope.
The striking staging, music and puppetry created a memorable experience and gave pupils the opportunity to reflect on the story in a meaningful and emotional way.
For our pupils in our specialist provisions, opportunities like these are hugely valuable. Live theatre can support confidence, curiosity and connection, offering pupils a rich sensory and emotional experience in a supportive setting.
These visits formed part of the school’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful enrichment opportunities that broaden pupils’ experiences and support their personal development.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making both theatre visits such a positive and memorable experience for pupils across Maudsley and Bethlem Hospital School.
